Purpose

This builds on the 30 and 90 hour program, exploring an advanced approach to the Chromatic Principles of Chromatic Alignment, anatomy and physiology.

Style/Lineage

This training follows Matt Giordano’s L.I.T. methodology, a systematic approach to help students reach their highest potential on and off the mat. It blends Hatha and Vinyasa postures, applied anatomy, pranayama, meditation, mantra, and philosophy into an integrated, modern-day yogi practice. The focus is on the integrated knowledge and the structure to properly embody it.

Teaching Skills
  • Clearly Apply and embody the chromatic yoga system and its core values of intention, action, and awareness to bring out and share your unique gifts authenticity within the system
  • Teach a class using the "masterful verbal cuing" method to deliver clear, concise, effective, and creative cues that connect anatomy with embodiment and align your tone of voice with the class intention to create a powerful experience for the student
  • Design a class experience using the chromatic yoga system of sequencing that creatively builds toward a peak pose through the layering of peak actions from simple to complex to create a biomechanically safe and transformational class journey
  • Teach a class embodying the chromatic yoga system of cuing that creatively integrates the step-by-step approach of breaking down "big things into small things" for educational efficiency in complex teaching scenarios
  • Creatively, clearly, and authentically demonstrate a peak pose in the middle of the room utilizing masterful cues, dynamic elements of voice, and accurately demonstrating the exaggerated movement in your own body for best educational impact
Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics
  • Effectively mentor and lead students in applying anatomy and biomechanics safely and effectively to chromatic class design and teaching
Practice Skills
  • Visually Demonstrate clear, creative, and educational postural actions and self-adjustment techniques during the flow of the class that effectively help improve confidence and clarity of actions for students
Lifestyle & Ethics
  • Share how contributing to the global community of chromatic teachers has helped sustain your inspiration, created a sense of togetherness, and grown your career
Business Skills
  • Inspire And Empower fellow trainees by sharing your current sustainable marketing and career strategies, including use of social media, a unique vision for your business, and skills to "sell out" workshops, retreats and courses.

AYC allows each school to state and evaluate the competencies each student acquires. Students rate how well the program delivered them.
