Lora is the co-founder and Creative Director of Earth & Aerial Yoga. With a foundation in traditional yoga, she has been practicing for over 25 years and teaching in Massachusetts for more than a decade. She earned her 200-hour certification with Yoga Arts in Sri Lanka in 2012 and began exploring aerial yoga in 2016. After training under Katharine Scalora, the two co-founded Earth & Aerial Yoga in Hudson, MA, united by a passion for the physical and psychological benefits of the practice.
Since opening in 2019, Earth & Aerial Yoga has become New England’s leading aerial yoga studio, cultivating a vibrant community of students of all ages and backgrounds. In 2023, Lora joined Katharine in leading teacher trainings and continues to refine their signature Aerial Yoga Teacher Training, which has certified over 50 instructors and counting. She also leads international aerial yoga retreats and brought aerial yoga to the Berkshire Yoga Festival.
Beyond the studio, Lora has a professional background in journalism and communications, having worked as a magazine editor, television news reporter, and media consultant across Europe, Asia, and North America. In 2020, she was honored as one of Worcester Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 for her leadership and contributions to the wellness community. She continues to find inspiration at the intersection of movement, creativity, and connection.
