Please bring a water bottle and dress in comfortable attire; layers are encouraged for warmth. Though this is not an active yoga class, you will be invited to engage in some gentle movement. You’ll also be invited to lie down for part of the session (Savasana). Participation in group activities is entirely optional; feel free to simply listen, observe, and receive in whatever way feels right for you. This space is inclusive, trauma-informed, and judgment-free. Please come as you are. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Cacao contains a mild natural stimulant that may impact individuals differently. While small amounts are generally considered safe for most people, including those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking SSRIs or MAOIs, or managing heart conditions, high blood pressure, or caffeine sensitivity. Char’s movement foundation is rooted in dance, corrective exercise, biomechanics, and a yoga practice spanning over twenty years. Her decade-long yoga teaching approach is grounded in alignment-based Vinyasa, influenced by the Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Baptiste lineages, and shaped by the breath-centered teachings of Desikachar. She holds multiple 200-hour certificates in Hot Power Vinyasa/Hatha and Yin Yoga, as well as a 200-hour certification from YogaWorks.
